I Feel Like A Snob

I feel like a snobby hillbilly. I haven’t taken part in any of the cool and generous things that have been goin’ on amongst some of my fellow bloggers this week.

I haven’t participated in Jason’s generous offer on Harsh Reality to guest blog, and he pretty much opened it up to anyone.

I didn’t participate in lindagill’s weekly challenge.

Nor did I take part in mommyx4boys’ writin’ prompt on Miracles.

I’m sure there are more but I can’t think of them at the moment. I have hit a bloggin’ slump and I can’t seem to get out of it. All of the above mentioned blogs and opportunities are wonderful and I have read all of the posts so far, I just can’t seem to get this hillbilly brain to cooperate with my fingers.

I just really wanted to take this opportunity to say, awesome posts everybody, I wish I could be just half as good at this that y’all are.

Keep up the fantastic work and I’ll keep readin’ and maybe this gigantic wall that has formed in my noggin will go away soon.

Thanks for readin’

Tim

It happens, don’t worry about it too much. There’s always new challenges and all

I do know how you feel though. I am coming up on writer’s block again, not that I don’t have things to run on about, but just cannot get the words right on “paper”.

Dont be so hard on yourself everyone has slumps, and even if my challenge is closed and you decide you wanna write something for it, it will reopen it so that you can. πŸ™‚

    *whispers* Friday… It’ll be back… πŸ˜€
I’ve been going through a slump myself of late. It’s only Jason who kinda got me back on track. It happens. Then one day something comes up and you go AHA! and you can’t write fast enough. I don’t know how housebound you are with your mom, but I know from experience that certainly doesn’t help.
Anyway, if it helps, I’m really enjoying your style and I’m looking forward to reading more of your blog. Take care, Tim. πŸ™‚

Thank you so much Linda! That really means a lot to me. I suppose we all go through these little slumps, but gosh, ain’t it aggravatin’ lol

As far as housebound, it’s a full time gig with mom, she has to have someone with her all the time so needless to say I don’t get out much πŸ™‚

Really the only time I get out is to do my paper route. It’s a tough job… but somebody’s gotta do it. πŸ˜›
When I do get out in actual public though, I spend most of my time observing people. They’re an endless source of inspiration!
