A Possible Extra Income Venture

WG20295BB20I am seriously thinking about making Survival Bracelets and selling them. I have been watching instructional videos like crazy on Youtube and I’m fairly certain that I could make them with no problem.

Not only are they stylish but they come in handy in an emergency because you can un-braid them if you need rope or cord for anything.

There are seemingly infinite ways to make them as far as color and style goes. You can add a watch face or compass or just about anything else to them to make ’em even more versatile.

The average selling price is between $19.00 and $26.00 but I think I could  make them and sell them for less and still make money. Maybe not a lot of money but still, every little bit helps, right?

On top of all that, it would give me something to do that I think would be therapeutic. However, the big question I have is, how well could I do it with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both hands?

It’s something to think about anyway and besides, I gotta come up with the initial money to get started, somewhere around $150.00 for everything.

So, would you buy a Survival Bracelet if you saw one that caught your fancy?

Thanks for readin’.

that sounds like a great idea, and yes I would probably buy a couple of them, you could probably buy inexpensive but functional compasses in lots from ebay fairly cheap same with watch lots (multiples) and add them to your survival bracelets and sell those ones for a couple bucks more than a standard bracelet , you could sell them online and at flea markets/outdoor markets and craft fairs etc. there is nothing wrong with generating a bit of extra income 🙂

Exactly what I was thinkin’ too. I used to do woodworking and sold a lot around craft fairs and such so this shouldn’t be that much different. I’m looking around the net now to find the cheapest supplies.

I hope you have great success, and if you do start selling them online, if you add paypal as a payment option, I’d buy a couple , probably multiple couples as gifts for various friends and relatives 🙂 just be sure to add shipping costs to the price so you are not paying out of pocket when people order online 🙂
