Social Networking For Your Blog

OK, you’ve written an awesome post and you want a lot of people to read it. Whatta ya do? This is the problem we bloggers face when we have a new blog and we need to get the word out.

I have found it essential to use Social Networking. I have my blog linked to Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Tumblr. I will use Pintrest as another outlet.

You prolly already have quite a few friends on Facebook, encourage them to read  your blog by automatically having your blog post post to your Facebook Page and then don’t be shy, post on Facebook and suggest they read it and share it, that will drive readers to your blog.

Google+ is an awesome tool to use as a networking platform. The key to success there is to join a bunch of circles, it don’t really matter whether you’re in love with the content or not, it’s the reach of people that you will be getting. Of course, you can only join circles that you are interested in but your outreach won’t be as great. Once you have established yourself in several circles link your posts to G+ and everybody in your circles will see the post as long as you have shared it with them. That could be potentially a thousand or better people seeing your post and driving that traffic to your blog.

Twitter and Tumblr are good outlets as well, depending on how many followers you have. You can use your blog to gain followers and Twitter and Tumblr to gain blog visits and followers. It’s a win win kinda thing.

Pintrest is awesome as far as getting your blog out there. Simply pin a link to your blog and you’re on your way.

In short, social networking is key to blog success. You will build your audience exponentially if done properly and in the end that’s what blogging is all about isn’t it?

Thanks for reading.
