At 4 years old you’d think a boy would have given up his “Blankie” by now. Not my boy, his blanket can be converted into almost anything. A house, a tent, a cape, a hidey hole and of course a regular ole blankie.
This child carries it everywhere he goes, to the bathroom, the table, the couch, anywhere and everywhere and he’s usually carrying it between his teeth or draped around him like a cape with his head covered up with just his face peeking out.
It don’t matter if it’s 20 degrees or 80 degrees in the house (not that it’s ever 20 degrees in the house) he’s got it with him or around him. He’s like his nanna, he thinks he’s cold all the time, whether he has his clothes on or not. It’s his security blanket, he’s had it since he was just a baby and it has to be washed at least 2 times a week.
I’m not sure what he sees in that blanket, but I have a feeling it’s gonna be with him for a long time to come and I’m alright with that. A boy and his blanket is normal around my house.
Thanks for readin’.
